Adoption Process

WindyHill Equine Rescue and Rehoming is committed to responsible horse adoption. We prioritize pairing the right horse with an adopter's skill level and riding needs.

Interested adopters must submit an application and pay a $50 fee. We'll assess if we have a horse that meets your criteria and arrange a visit. For those interested in riding, our team will help match you with a horse suitable for your riding needs. We also verify housing conditions and references before finalizing the adoption.

Adoption fees range from $1,000 for companion-only animals to $2,000 and up for rideable horses, based on various factors like age and training level.
